The platform acts as a digital safeguard on your transactions so complex EU rules (e.g. reverse charge and triangle VAT) are less likely to become expensive retrospective errors. Posting a job is free. On success the fee is 10% in total: the company pays 7.5% on top of the agreed wage, the freelancer 2.5% of their fee. No mandatory subscriptions — optional Premium may be offered separately.

Without a CVR you work as a private individual and issue a fee note instead of an invoice. You can earn up to DKK 50,000 per year this way without VAT registration. If you earn more, you should set up a business (e.g. a sole proprietorship). Vagtr tracks your annual income and warns you in good time.
As a private individual (without CVR) you are responsible for reporting your B-income. Vagtr generates an annual summary you can use as documentation. Companies you work for may have reporting duties — clarify with the client. Vagtr follows EU DAC7 rules for platform reporting.
When your total B-income from freelance work approaches DKK 50,000 over 12 months. The easiest route is often a sole proprietorship (free via the Danish business authority). You do not need VAT registration until you exceed the threshold. Vagtr guides you as you approach the limit.
The client is responsible for the work environment and is typically covered by liability insurance. As a freelancer we recommend private liability insurance — especially for trades work. Vagtr is working on optional platform insurance. Always ask the client about coverage before you start.
It is free to create a profile and apply for jobs. The fee is 10% in total per completed job: the company pays 7.5% on top of the agreed wage, and the freelancer contributes 2.5% of their fee. Example: DKK 200/h for 20 hours = DKK 4,000 agreed to the freelancer. The company funds about DKK 4,300 in escrow; after fees the freelancer receives DKK 3,900. Optional Premium features may be listed separately in the app.
Hours are auto-approved after 48 hours if the company does not respond. In a dispute Vagtr reviews the GPS log, check-in data, and messages and decides within 5 business days. Payment stays in escrow until approval.
